Standard Chartered India is seeking a Business/System Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Financial Markets and post-trade processing. You will collaborate with Operations and Business teams to document requirements, map data, and support regulatory initiatives.

The role involves cross-functional analysis, agile practices, and working with upstream/downstream systems. Candidates should have 5+ years in banking/FinTech analysis and fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Markets post-trade processing and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycles and market products, incl. Fx and fixed income.

Responsabilités

  • Prepare BRD, FSD, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform impact analysis across upstream and downstream apps.
  • Support solution design and governance activities.
  • Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Assist testing and validation, ensuring quality deliveries.

  • UBER Integration

  • FMRP Migration Initiatives

  • Analyse impacts from:

  • Murex Decommission programs

  • FMRP onboarding activities

  • Static Data changes

  • Regulatory initiatives

  • Production issues and defect remediation


Must-have Skills


  • Financial Markets domain experience.

  • Trade Lifecycle understanding

  • SQL and Data Analysis


Other Skills


  • API and Interface understanding

  • Azure DevOps (ADO)

  • Data Mapping and Message Structures.

  • Requirements elicitation and documentation.


Key Experiences


  • This role requires strong domain knowledge in Financial Markets Post-Trade processing, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate in a complex global environment


Certifications/Qualifications


  • MBA or BE/BTech or BSc (with experience as business/system analyst Financial Domain/Banking/FinTech experience)

  • 5+ years as business/system analyst in Financial Domain/Banking/FinTech

  • Excellent knowledge in Financial markets, various financial market products (especially Fx, money market and other fixed income products including derivatives)

  • The ability to work directly with Operations and Business teams to understand current processes

  • Working experience in agile team, and writing user stories

  • Certifications like CFA is a plus
