The role requires 5+ years in insurance with 2+ years on Guidewire ClaimsCenter; strong SQL and data profiling skills; plus ability to document processes and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance domain.
• At least 2 years focused on Guidewire ClaimsCenter.
• Understanding of claims lifecycle processes (FNOL, assignment, reserve management, subrogation).
• Background in data modeling or transformation projects.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data profiling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Translate ClaimsCenter data mappings into detailed integration documentation for GCP pipelines.
• Analyze and validate claims data extracts against enterprise data models.
• Document claim entities, exposures, reserves, payments and recoveries.
• Support design/validation of Claims data marts in BigQuery and ensure consistency with related systems.
• Collaborate with QA and data governance to validate pipeline integrity and data quality.

Position: Business Analyst - Guidewire ClaimsCenter (GCP Data Integration)

Role Summary

We are hiring a Business Analyst with solid experience in Guidewire ClaimsCenter and P&C insurance claims processes to support the integration of claims data into our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data warehouse. This individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Guidewire implementation teams, and cloud data engineers to ensure accurate and complete translation of claims data for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate ClaimsCenter functional and process enhancements into detailed data mapping, transformation, and integration documentation for GCP-based pipelines.
• Analyze and validate claims data extracts, ensuring proper alignment with enterprise data models.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for claim entities, exposures, reserves, payments, and recoveries.
• Support the design and validation of Claims data marts in BigQuery, ensuring consistency across related systems ( PolicyCenter, BillingCenter).
• Collaborate with QA and data governance teams to validate pipeline integrity and data quality.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance domain, with at least 2 years focused on Guidewire ClaimsCenter.
• Strong understanding of claims lifecycle processes - FNOL, assignment, claim exposure, reserve management, subrogation, and recoveries.
• Background in modeling, or transformation projects.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data profiling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Guidewire DataHub/ClaimCenter integration points.
• Experience working with GCP BigQuery or cloud analytics environments.
• Relevant certifications such as AINS 21/23/24 or Guidewire BA certification.
