Job summary

NiCE in Maharashtra, India seeks an experienced AML analytics consultant to shape and deliver financial crime prevention solutions for Actimize customers. You will blend domain expertise with data science, design ML-informed monitoring, and guide stakeholders through complex AML projects.

You will lead client conversations, translate business needs into technical requirements, and mentor junior analysts while driving strategic AML initiatives across multiple clients and environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial services industry, financial crime prevention, transaction monitoring, sanctions screen etc.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications in business analytics or financial crime prevention [ CAMS, CFE or related] are plus.
• Experience working with Actimize solutions such as SAM, WLF is necessary.
• Proficiency in presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and similar technologies.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms, understand model performances, model governance etc.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R and/or other data analysis framework
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills for effective stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Creative problem-solving skills , strategic thinking, and good analytical skills.
• Efficient time management, ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use AI to improve day to day performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation on AML services/strategies for newly onboarded Actimize Customers.
• Provide ongoing consultation on AML services including Actimize solutions (SAM, WLX, ACTONE), ML models and feature recommendations.
• Collect and analyze financial data for potential AML and triage missed alerts for Actimize clients.
• Tune transaction monitoring systems to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Prepare AML trend reports and analytics presentations for Actimize customers.
• Engage with clients and internal teams to gather insights, identify problems, and manage expectations.
• Initiate and lead key strategic AML initiatives.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for data science and ML initiatives.
• Coach and mentor peer analytics team members on best analytics practices.
