Job summary

Synechron is a Bengaluru-based opportunity for an experienced Business Analysis & Domain Consulting Lead Associate. You will drive requirements elicitation, workshops, and documentation (BRDs/FRDs/User Stories) and translate them into functional specs, ensuring alignment across business and tech teams.

With 8+ years in BA/Consulting, you’ll act as SME in domains like payments, retail banking, and digital transformation, while guiding solution design, testing, and deployment in Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, or Functional Analysis roles.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe are preferred.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, MS Excel, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with business users and leadership teams.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flow Diagrams, and Functional Specifications.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend business process improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the assigned domain.
• Provide strategic recommendations and consulting inputs to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze industry trends, business challenges, and regulatory requirements to propose effective solutions.
• Support business transformation and digitalization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, architects, developers, and testing teams.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management and clients.
• Support solution design by providing functional expertise and business insights.
• Review system capabilities and assess impacts of proposed changes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
• Ensure business requirements are delivered as intended.
• Support UAT planning, test case preparation, execution, and sign-off.
• Assist in defect triage, issue resolution, and change management activities.
• Support production deployments and post-implementation reviews.
