Cars24 is seeking a Public Policy professional to shape and execute engagement with government stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. You will monitor policy developments, analyze regulatory changes, build strategic relationships, and support advocacy efforts aligned with business objectives.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience in Public Policy or related fields, with strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, Public Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree (MPP, MPA, MBA, or LLM) is preferred.
• 3–8 years of experience in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Consulting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of India's regulatory and policy landscape.
• Experience engaging with government stakeholders and industry associations.
• Excellent research, analytical, and policy drafting skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze central, state, and local government policies, regulations, and legislative developments relevant to the business.
• Develop policy briefs, position papers, and recommendations for leadership.
• Engage with government ministries, regulators, industry bodies, and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate responses to consultations, policy requests, and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor political, economic, and regulatory trends that could influence business operations.
• Support crisis management and regulatory issue resolution when required.
