Job summary

The role involves applying credit policies, verifying KYC, property documents, and legal checks, coordinating with sales, operations, and risk teams, and identifying fraud risks while maintaining TAT and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of home loan underwriting and mortgage products.
• Knowledge of credit bureau analysis (CIBIL/Experian/Equifax).
• Familiarity with banking statements and income assessment.
• Understanding of property valuation and legal checks.

Responsibilities

• Assess home loan applications received through digital platforms.
• Analyze applicant financials, income documents, banking behavior, bureau reports, and repayment capacity.
• Evaluate salaried and self-employed customer profiles.
• Conduct credit underwriting as per company policy and risk parameters.

• Identify fraud risks and policy deviations.
• Recommend approvals, rejections, or deviations within delegated authority limits.
• Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and early warning signals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements.
• Maintain turnaround time (TAT) and productivity targets.
• Support automation and digital credit initiatives for improved customer experience.
