Excelra is hiring a Bioinformatics Specialist (Omics/NGS) in Bangalore. The role involves joining a multidisciplinary bioinformatics team to work on genomics and multi-omics projects that advance drug discovery, biomarker discovery and patient stratification.

You will contribute to pipeline development, data integration and analysis using R, Python, Linux, Docker and Nextflow in a hybrid Bangalore setup. Applicants should have MSc level credentials and 3–5 years of industry experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industry experience in bioinformatics or computational biology.
• MSc in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering.
• Strong expertise in omics analyses including scRNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, WGS/WES, ChIP-Seq.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative bioinformatics pipelines for genomics and multi-omics data.
• Generate biological insights to support drug discovery, biomarker identification and disease modeling.
