Job summary

Live Connections in Chennai is seeking a BIM Tekla Engineer to develop 3D structural BIM models using Tekla for high-rise residential projects. You will produce detailed steel and RCC models, GA and fabrication drawings, and ensure clash-free coordination with Revit, MEP and architectural teams.

Ideal candidates should have a diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering and hands-on experience with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• Develop accurate 3D structural BIM models using Tekla.
• Prepare detailed structural steel and RCC models for high-rise residential projects.
• Create GA, shop, fabrication, and assembly drawings from BIM models.
• Coordinate with Structural Design, Revit, MEP and Architecture teams to ensure clash-free models.
• Interpret structural drawings and convert concepts into BIM models.
• Maintain BIM standards, model quality and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D BIM models using Tekla for high-rise projects.
• Generate BOQs, material reports and drawing schedules from Tekla models.
• Support project coordination and ensure timely BIM deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain model integrity throughout lifecycle.
