Job summary

WSP India is seeking a Senior Civil 3D Engineer/Technician to deliver coordinated, clash-checked civil designs using Civil 3D, Revit, and AutoCAD. You will model gravity and pressure networks, prepare ROW sections, and export models for multidisciplinary coordination.

You will work within our utilities team on high-profile projects, ensuring deliverables meet client requirements and BIM workflows are optimized, with a focus on timely, budget-conscious design delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BEng equivalent discipline with minimum 8 years experience.
• Extensive experience in Civil 3D.
• Extensive experience in clash check software packages.
• Extensive experience interfacing with Revit and other building design packages.
• Modelling of gravity and pressure networks.
• Drawing production for detailed design of engineering packages.
• Awareness of CAD Software AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
• Coordinating his/her work with other members of the CAD team.
• Good English communication skills will also be preferred.

• Export models to Navisworks, Revit, and other platforms for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using appropriate BIM tools, identifying conflicts and coordinating with relevant disciplines in a timely and organized manner.
• Deliver coordinated, clash-checked design packages on time and within budget.
• Produce design documentation, drawings, and technical reports in line with project requirements and deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement by developing standard BIM workflows, libraries, and best practices to enhance team efficiency.

WSP utilities team work on a range of high-profile projects across multiple sectors. Our clients frequently required BIM deliverables to ensure a coordinated design that has been clash checked with both Infrastructure and Building deliverables.

The Senior Civil 3D Engineer/Technician is key to ensuring that our deliverables meet client requirements and that we can demonstrate that our designs have been adequately coordinated and clash checked in 3 dimensions.

Mandatory skills

• Extensive experience of interfacing with Revit and other building design packages

• Drawing production for detailed design of engineering Packages
• Awareness of CAD Software Auto CAD, Civil 3D.
• Coordinating his/her work with other members of the CAD team.
• Work competently with minimal supervision.
• Good English communication skills will also be preferred.
