Job summary

WSP India designs and performs BIM modelling for dry utilities and MEICA, supervising the team and ensuring BIM production accuracy. You will coach the team, review outputs, and ensure consistency with BIM standards while coordinating with client meetings.

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks and cloud CDE workflows is required, along with strong English communication and time management to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of BIM modelling and supervision in infrastructure.
• Degree or diploma in electrical/electronic related BIM roles.
• Certified in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of Dry Utilities and ability to read related docs.
• Excellent English communication and time management.

• Ensure BIM models/drawings accuracy per BIM standards and project workflow.
• Model dry utilities/MEICA; supervise the team.
• Clean up and synchronize models daily to cloud platform.
• Publish drawing sets to cloud for professional review.
• Prepare discipline models for BIM coordination meetings.

• Support SHEQ and participate in quality control.

Job description

Design and perform BIM Modelling for dry utilities network and MEICA, team supervision / direction, review and ensuring the correctness of BIM production work from the team, coaching and team building, attending meetings with client.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Ensure models / drawings accuracy based on BIM standards and BIM project workflow criteria / checklist.

Experience in modelling of dry utilities.

Clean up and synchronize models/drawings on a daily basis to the cloud collaboration platform.

Ensure all productions are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.

Report regularly to BIM Lead / BIM Coordinator on the progress of work.

Ensure all exported information are recorded in the correct directory.

Implement Quality Control

Responsible to participate and support the Company’s SHEQ within their scope of duties.

Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines regarding design-changes and model changes;

Adhere to the BEP and BIM project workflow criteria;

Follow BIM content standards and development procedures;

Setting up of Seed and Model Templates

Publish drawing sets to the cloud for professional team review and mark-up;

Prepare discipline model and/or content for BIM coordination meetings

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Have a minimum of 4 yrs experience in BIM modelling and supervision in infrastructure projects.
• Have a degree or diploma holder in electrical/electronic reflecting the required BIM modelers position
• Be certified and experienced in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit andNavisworks.
• Good knowledge in Preparation of part Builder both Gravity & pressure networks
• Ability to generate Clash report, able do clash checking, resolving based on the reports and viewpoints
• Proficient knowledge in terms Dry Utilities & capable to read all related items Electrical/telecom/Street Lighting.
• Understanding / capable to coordinate and work with Design engineers.
• High performing ability to work and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams and work independently. Ensuring your work is to the highest appropriate standards and in compliance with WSP quality systems and standards.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, with the desire to take on extra responsibilities and constantly upskilling team and oneself.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative, able do the work independently with excellent time management skills.
• You will demonstrate a high level of commitment, flexibility and be eager to accept responsibility and learn new skills, whilst always exercising an active interest in helping to solve technical problems faced by any member of the team.
• Be experienced in working collaboratively on a cloud CDE
