Job summary

WSP India is seeking a talented BIM Engineer specializing in Building Technology Systems to develop, implement, and manage BIM strategies across projects. You will work with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ICT, Security, Audio-Visual, and telecom systems within BIM.

The role requires proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and a strong understanding of building technology systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of BIM coordination/management experience for building technology systems.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of building technology systems and their integration with architectural designs.
• Experience with clash detection and resolution in BIM-driven projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for building technology systems (ICT, Security, Audio-Visual, etc.).
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure integration of building systems within BIM.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts to minimize design issues.
• Provide technical guidance on BIM implementation and workflows to project teams.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of BIM documentation (drawings, specs, reports).
• Assist in developing and executing BIM execution plans with clear goals and deliverables.
• Stay current with BIM trends, technologies, and software developments.
• Participate in meetings and workshops to communicate BIM strategies and outcomes.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff in BIM practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies in our projects. • Experience with clash detection and resolution processes in BIM-driven projects.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to building technology systems.

• Certification in BIM technologies (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
