Job summary

Egis is seeking a skilled BIM Designer (Wet Utilities/Drainage) in infrastructure to create and manage BIM models and drawings for complex projects. You will ensure modeling aligns with project requirements and industry standards while collaborating with engineers, designers, and stakeholders across multiple regions.

You will leverage Civil 3D, Navisworks, and Revit to deliver accurate, clash-free, and cost-aware designs, supporting efficient delivery and compliance with client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of BIM (Wet Utilities/Drainage) for infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a skilled BIM Designer (Wet Utilities/Drainage) specializing in Infrastructure to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing wet utilities design drawing & Civil 3D BIM Models for various infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient design processes and high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Proficient enough in handling Civil 3D (Pipe networks- Gravity & Pressure Networks) for Wet utilities related deliverables
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for infrastructure projects using industry-standard software
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various design elements into cohesive BIM models
• Ensure BIM models comply with project requirements, standards, and best practices
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts within the BIM environment
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates from BIM models
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM-related issues
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in BIM(Wet Utilities/Drainage) for infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in BIMsoftware such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks andRevit
• Strong 3D modelling and visualization skills
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design principles and construction processes
• Familiarity with CAD software and ability to work with 2D drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk certifications) preferred
• Demonstrated experience in applying BIM standards and best practices
• Familiar withinfrastructure projects in Middle East region
