Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Junior Information Manager for our BIM Digital Engineering team in India. You will support project delivery supervision, drive internal process improvements and ensure adherence to ISO 19650 standards across multidisciplinary projects.

You will collaborate with clients, set up the Common Data Environment, define digital delivery strategies, train delivery teams and help prepare proposals and bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in civil engineering with 5+ years in AEC.
• ISO19650 certification desirable.
• Experience reviewing client EIRs and authoring BEPs.
• Experience in international projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the client EIR, project scope and delivery schedule.
• Collaborate with clients to define digital delivery strategy for the project.
• Create and maintain the BIM Execution Plan for projects.
• Establish and manage Common Data Environment to support collaboration between all project stakeholders.
• Setup models for individual disciplines and for federation.
• Provide guidance and training to the delivery team.
• Establish and configure clash detection process and conduct design co-ordination meetings.
• Define processes for QA/QC of models and check compliance of models to client requirements.
• Interact with clients and external stakeholders to manage delivery.
• Setup dashboards and analytics to enable data driven delivery.
• Support project leadership in tracking delivery progress and identifying potential risks to delivery.
• Supports the deployment of innovative processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure project delivery in compliance with ISO19650 by performing regular audits across the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior personnel to take on the role of an Information Manager.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis Business is hiring an experienced Junior Information Manager for our BIM Digital Engineering team. This person will be carrying out a mix of functions that span from internal process improvements to supporting construction project delivery supervision. The successful candidate should be a people, process and technology focused individual whose main duty will be to ensure that the project delivery team(s) adhere to agreed standards and best industry methodologies. The candidate will also actively support project teams on proposal/bids and project delivery tasks.

Skills

• A good understanding of the data, information management including compliance to ISO 19650 standards.
• Sound knowledge in engineering design and in assisting engineering disciplines in with Self/Inter and Multi-disciplinary design coordination and quality compliance.
• Proficient knowledge of model federation and design co-ordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM Track or Revizto for performing tasks like clash management, model walkthroughs, issue tracking and management.
• Proficient knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) such as ACC, BIM360, ASITE or ProjectWise.
• A grounded understanding of construction quality processes.

About You

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum of 2 Years' experience in managing Multi-Disciplinary Co-ordination in large projects with geographically dispersed teams and digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects (Information Management/BIM).
• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards
• Experience in reviewing client EIRs and authoring BEPs.
• Experience in creating client EIRs is preferred.

Educational Qualifications.

• Bachelor's/master's degree in civil engineering and 5+ years' experience in AEC industry, minimum 2 years' experience in international projects.
• Information Management (ISO19650) certification by a relevant institution e.g. BRE, Operam Academy, RICS etc is desirable.
• Certification in BIM Tools and Processes would be an added advantage.

Software Skill

• Expertise in setting up and managing projects on BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or ProjectWise.
• Expertise in Navisworks clash detection and multi-disciplinary co-ordination.
• Expertise in one of more of the following BIM Authoring Tools – Revit, Civil3D, Plant 3D, Bentley Open Suite.
• Knowledge of PowerBI or other data visualization tools would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo / Microsoft Power Automate would be an added advantage.
