Job summary

Vegrow, a Bengaluru-based fresh fruits & vegetables platform, is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist. You will process payments, reconcile ledgers, and support vendor payments and audits to ensure financial accuracy.

The role requires a Commerce degree, an MBA in Finance, and at least two years of experience in AP. You will liaise with banks, track bills, and assist with weekly reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance advisable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Process payments from various locations.
• Liaise with banks for queries regarding payments.
• Handle AP inquiries via phone.
• Verify ledger/expense classifications before payments.
• Prepare weekly bank reconciliations.
• Clear vendor advances weekly.
• Track and chase pending bills.
• Check accuracy of figures and calculations.
• Verify employee reimbursements per policy and process payments.
• Provide audit support documentation.

Job Description

• Processing Payments from various locations Payments requests.
• Contacting banks regarding any financial queries.
• Handling all telephone inquiries relating to accounts payable issues.
• Verify the classification of ledger/expenses before make the payment.
• Complete Bank reconciliation statements weekly wise.
• Clear vendor advances weekly wise
• Pending Bills Tracking and chasing.
• Checking the accuracy of figures and calculations.
• Employees Expense reimbursement verify as per the policy and process the payment.
• Providing support documentation for audits.
• Matching cheques to corresponding invoices.

Qualifications
