Job summary

Welocalize, Inc is seeking Metadata Specialists to contribute to finished products released in target markets worldwide. You will evaluate the quality of written and spoken text across languages, and may work on content review for Music and TV applications, collaborating with international teams to improve client products and partner data integrations.

This on-site role requires native language fluency, QA or data analysis experience, and strong attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

Welocalize are seeking Metadata Specialists with backgrounds in many locales and languages. You will be working onsite at a leading consumer technology company as a contributor to the finished products released in target markets across the globe. You will evaluate the quality of both written and spoken text for services as it relates to your area of linguistic and geographic expertise. In addition, you may also work on content review and creation for Music and TV applications. You will work cooperatively with international teams to monitor and improve the quality of client products and partner data integrations.

• Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner
• Ability to stay motivated and deliver results while working on repetitive tasks
• Ability to under and prioritize task and issues quickly and efficiently
• Native level language skills and cultural awareness
• Drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements

Additional Job Details

• REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience: Have native level fluency in one of the following languages – Germen, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, and Russian
• Experience with advanced spreadsheet
• At least one year experience working as a QA, Data Analyst or similar role
• Basic knowledge of iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV
• Up-to-date awareness of current and common technical language usage in the target language

Work Environment requirements

• Must be able to be in a stationary position for extended periods of time
• Must be able to use a computer mouse for extended periods of time
• Must be able to keyboard for extended periods of time
