Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services Private Limited is seeking a GCP Data Engineer / BigQuery Engineer based in Bengaluru. The role requires strong hands-on experience with BigQuery, GCP Storage, SQL, and Python, plus familiarity with Airflow, Dataflow, and data pipelines.

Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and Cloud Composer is preferred. Nice-to-have skills include Pub/Sub, Spark, Unix shell scripting, and data visualization; candidates should understand data warehousing concepts and Google Cloud client

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery, GCP Storage, SQL, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of BigQuery ingestion/egress, partitioning, clustering, arrays, UNNEST.
• Experience with Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and Docker.
• Familiar with Airflow DAGs / Cloud Composer and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Python client libraries, service accounts, quotas, and data warehousing.
• Nice-to-have: Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Spark, batch/streaming ingestion, Unix shell scripting, data modeling, and data visualization.
