Job summary

SII Group India is seeking an experienced Big Data Developer to build and manage data foundations powering AI initiatives. You will design ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake models, and orchestrate workflows using dbt, Airflow, Matillion, or Fivetran. Hybrid work from Hyderabad or Bangalore is offered.

Join a team enabling AI Engineers and Data Scientists with scalable data, ensuring quality and reliable data and driving CI/CD and IaC deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data ingestion, data integration, schema design, data transformation, and data lake development.
• Experience designing and managing scalable cloud data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Expertise in building and optimizing ETL/ELT data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, including schema design, tables, and views.
• Experience optimizing query performance and improving platform efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration using dbt and Airflow.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Fluent English communication skills – minimum B2 level.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Developer to join our internal team at SII Group India. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing the data foundation that powers our AI initiatives. The engineer will work on data ingestion, data stitching, schema design, data transformation, and data lake preparation, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and AI-ready datasets. You will play a critical role in enabling AI Engineers and Data Scientists to effectively leverage enterprise data for advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions.

This is a hybrid work model, with candidates expected to work from our offices in Hyderabad or Bangalore.

Your tasks

• Designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake

• Previous work in managing Snowflake security, access controls, and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform
• Experience leveraging Snowpark, Streams, and Tasks for advanced data processing and automationFluent English communication skills - minimum B2 level
