Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Data Developer to join the DCS BigData team. You will design and implement server-side data processing pipelines on Skywise and related platforms, delivering KPIs, dashboards, and data objects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Project Leader and Product Owner, understanding business processes, and delivering weekly artifacts with QA and VersionOne integration.

Qualifications

• Graduate in an area such as Information Technology, Engineering.
• At least 5 years experience in BigData Development.
• Strong Hands On Experience on Python, PySpark, Java Script, AWS, Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus application portfolio.
• Independently prototype, develop, test and release solutions (KPIs, dashboard) on the Skywise platform.
• Communication with Project Leader and PO.
• Be a part of the development team as a development team member.
• Understanding and challenging business requirements.
• Deliverables on a weekly basis: Algorithms, KPIs and Dashboards on Qlik and/or Skywise, VersionOne updates.

Data Developer Job Description

You will join the Airbus (DCS) organization in charge of the BigData Developments & Support. The mission of the PSL is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support digital transformation and efficient operations for customer services. More precisely the PSL is dedicated to support Customer Services activities related to the Airframe Services product and services portfolio:

• Provide operators & lessors with optional upgrade (cabin, airframe, avionics, connectivity) and embodiment services
• Provide Fleet Technical Management to maximize the A/C availability and reduce cost per seat.

We are looking for a BigData Developer with a strong background in designing and developing high-quality server side processing in Python and PySpark. Today Airframe Services Business is providing support to manage the upgrades end-to-end process in order to fulfil customer contracts and deliver services.

You will have the responsibility to:

• Understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus application portfolio

You will have a strong collaboration with the Support Team, the MIS provider and the product team members.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate in an area such as Information Technology, Engineering.
• At least 5 years experience in BigData Development.
• Strong Hands On Experience on Python, PySpark, Java Script, AWS, Cloud.

• Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging data-objects, and data transformation pipelines.

Secondary Skills

• Proficient with Palantir platform ( tools e.g. Contour, Workshop, Slate) and Ontology definitions.

• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge on Qlik Dashboarding
