Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited in Chennai invites an experienced SCADA Design and Testing Engineer to join the Energy Storage & Automation Engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and commission SCADA systems for Battery Energy Storage Systems using Ignition, MicroSCADA, Zenon, and PostgreSQL.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in SCADA design, development, integration, testing and commissioning.
• Strong experience with Ignition SCADA, MicroSCADA, Zenon, Siemens WinCC or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases for historian and reporting.
• Knowledge of BMS/EMS, inverters and power conversion systems.
• Experience with Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, OPC UA, DNP3, IEC 61850, MQTT and REST APIs.
