Outlier is seeking native Bengali speakers for a voice recording project that helps AI understand human speech, emotion, and tone. You will record short clips, read scripts with varied delivery, and contribute to improving how machines interpret conversation.
We value clear, expressive communication and comfortable microphone work. Applicants should have a quiet recording space, reliable internet, and be located in allowed regions.
Outlier partners with leading AI companies to improve how artificial intelligence understands real people: how we speak, express emotion, communicate intent, and respond naturally in everyday situations.
We are looking for native Bengali speakers who are comfortable using their voice. This project is a strong fit for people who can bring clarity, personality, and emotional range to short audio recordings. You do not need to be a professional actor, but you should be expressive, confident, and able to speak naturally in front of a microphone.
Naturally outgoing and expressive speakers are encouraged to apply, even without formal performance experience.
This project pays up to $7.50 USD per hour for core project work.
Contributors may also be eligible for additional incentive opportunities through Missions, Outlier's version of surge pricing. Rates and available work may vary based on skills assessment, project needs, expertise, location, and other factors. Some onboarding, assessment, or non-core work may be paid at a different rate.
This opportunity is open to qualified contributors in the selected posting countries, except individuals located in Cambodia, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Afghanistan, Belarus, China, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Macau, Myanmar/Burma, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Somalia, Ukraine, or Yemen.
