Job summary

Excelra is seeking a qualified Scientific Informatics Analyst to lead Benchling ELN implementation for Biopharma and Biotech customers. You will work with scientists and IT managers to analyze needs, configure the Benchling ELN, and deliver solutions via a delivery team.

The role requires 5+ years in Benchmarking ELN configuration, plus experience with scientific data workflows and data modeling. You will train internal teams and customer key users, gather requirements, and present workflows to

• 5+ years of experience configuring and implementing Benchling ELN from scratch.
• Experience with scientific applications like LIMS, ELN, Empower is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL for working with scientific data.

"The individual will support projects for the Scientific Informatics division at Excelra for the Biopharma and Biotech customers. The individual will provide the technical and delivery management skills required to analyse customer needs and gaps to propose and implement solutions for the desired state. He or she will have to work with scientists and business/IT managers at Customers in conjunction with the delivery team to configure the Benchling ELN."

Your responsibilities?

• Leading Benchling implementation, designing the data model, forms and templates as part of implementation.
• Provide Benchling training on configuration to internal delivery team and the customer key users
• Scientific business analysis skills to review scientific business processes and systems. And create process flows using BPMN tools like Visio and Lucid chart.
• Gather requirements and document use cases to present to various stakeholders
• Demonstrate workflows to business users and R&D IT stakeholders
• Produce and deliver required configuration, documents, and reports to customers

What we are expecting from you:

• 5+ years of experience in configuration and implementation experience from scratch in Benchling ELN
• Experience in Scientific applications and systems like LIMS, ELN, and Empower is a plus
• Experience in programming or scripting languages working with scientific data (Python, SQL)
• Experience in Data model designing.
• Ability to prioritise requirements, handle escalations, guide the team and remove blockers
• Experience with systems and instrument integration and data migration is a plus
• Strong interest in training on Benchling configuration to other team members to make them project-ready

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in a scientific or health care field.
• Minimum three years as a Scientific Informatics analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical /Life sciences industry.
