What would you do?
We help clients address quality and productivity issues, keep pace with customer expectations, navigate regulatory and operational pressures and ensure business sustainability by transforming their banking operations into an agile, resilient operating model. The Corporate banking / Wholesale banking team is responsible for helping clients and organizations process trade finance transactions by providing superior service delivery to trade customers whilst safeguarding the bank from risks associated with this business. Develop and deliver core banking solutions for the applications that process the essential functions of banks, including account management, interest calculations, cash deposits and withdrawals processing, customer management and product management.
What are we looking for?
- Should be able to review the US financial statements of the borrowers/guarantors, calculate/interpret the financial ratios.
- Understand and analyze the company/borrower performance based on financials, cashflow, and other secondary information.
- Payment operations.
- Funding and loan booking operations.
- Understand the type of facilities and exposure of the borrower to assess the Loss Given Default and the Probability of Default. Should have knowledge of financial ratios impact on the overall performance.
- Ability to summarize borrower, financials, cashflow and industry performance details in a clear and crisp way.
- Identify the risk associated with the borrower/company and mention it accordingly in the review along with the possible mitigants with justification.
- Perform assignments/deals/tasks of moderate complexity.
- Work with limited supervision, performing tasks with some degree of independent decision making, ability to take judgment calls.
- Contribute to cycle time improvement and efficiency of the team.
- Communicate in correct English with clients, both orally and written. Analytically sound to take decisions on effectiveness of controls. Advanced proficiency required in English to create documents.
- Perform assignments/deals/tasks of high complexity and resolve queries.
- Ability to interact with clients on weekly calls and explain issue management process – moderate exposure to this skill and related work experience.
