Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a passionate Python Backend Developer to build scalable APIs and microservices for our Pune and Hyderabad teams.

You will design, implement and maintain robust services using Python frameworks and collaborate with frontend and backend colleagues to deliver high-quality software. The ideal candidate has strong Python expertise, hands-on experience with API design, RESTful services, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python 3 and its ecosystem.
• Experience with Pandas, Marshmallow, and Smorest.
• API development using Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience writing unit tests in Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Knowledge of Microservices and 12-Factor App principles.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience collaborating with frontend and back-end teams.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Experience debugging, refactoring, and enhancing existing applications.
• Understanding of Cloud technologies.
• Good to have: DevOps practices and Kubernetes.
