BizAarambh Catalyst Pvt Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Java Developer in Mohali to own 2–3 microservices, build scalable REST APIs, and integrate with Kafka and external systems. Strong Kafka and MySQL experience required, with containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.

The role involves code reviews, testing, and contributing to architecture decisions, while mentoring junior developers and supporting production incidents.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Expert-level Java and Spring Boot for microservices.
• Kafka producers/consumers, topics and groups.
• MySQL with complex queries, transactions and indexing.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience including Helm charts.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of 2–3 microservices from the listed set and improve logic.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs.
• Implement Kafka pipelines for Push/Email notifications and integrate external systems.
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests; participate in code reviews.
• Maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment configurations for owned services.
• Support L3/L4 production incidents and mentor junior developers.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing backend services, developing scalable APIs, integrating external systems, and troubleshooting production issues.## What you'll doo Take full ownership of 2 to 3 assigned microservices from the following list: App/Main Controller, ASM Controller, BSS.Controller, Misc/Data Controller, Push Notification Controller, Email Notification Controller, Scheduler, and Exporter.o Understand, document, and improve existing business logic implemented across all microservices Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance.o REST APIs consumed by the Frontend team and external systems.o Implement Kafka producers and consumers for Push Notification and Email Notification pipelines.
