Job summary

Qualifications

As a Backend Developer Intern, you will work on the core backend systems that power the AyurGenX platform — including APIs, data flow, user logic, and integration with AI and mobile applications.

You will work under experienced technical mentors and within an IIT Madras / IIM-guided ecosystem, learning how production-grade backend systems are designed and maintained.

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for the platform.
• Implement business logic for user accounts, health data handling, and platform workflows.
• Build secure, scalable, and performance-optimized APIs for web, mobile, and AI systems.
• Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to manage data models, validation, and storage.
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers for smooth API integration.

Must-Have: Strong understanding of backend concepts, experience with a backend language (Node.js, Python, Java), and knowledge of REST APIs and database principles.

Good-to-Have: Basics of authentication/authorization, cloud deployment exposure, and an understanding of scalable system design.
