Deepsolv in Bengaluru is seeking an SDE-2 / Backend Engineer to own system design, architecture, and scalability for AI-native products. You will shape backend platforms used by marketing teams and integrate with LLMs, AI agents, and large-scale data processing.

The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, performance tuning, observability, and collaboration with product, frontend, and AI teams. A strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native development is required.

• 3-5 years of strong backend engineering experience.
• Experience owning production systems and features end-to-end.
• Experience designing and scaling backend systems in a production environment.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems and APIs for AI-native products.
• Own the system design and architecture of features and services, including data models, APIs, service boundaries, and infrastructure choices.
• Make architectural decisions considering scalability, performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost.
• Own features end-to-end across the SDLC - from technical design and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Design systems that integrate with LLMs, AI agents, RAG pipelines, third-party APIs, and large-scale data processing workflows.
• Build asynchronous and distributed systems capable of handling high-volume workloads.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance, database efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and AI teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate actively in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
• Establish strong engineering practices around testing, observability, CI/CD, and code quality.
• Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI infrastructure and backend technologies.

You’ll work on complex backend systems involving large-scale data pipelines, AI workflows, LLMs, and distributed services, while helping shape the technical architecture of products being built from the ground up.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 3-5 years of strong backend engineering experience.
• Experience owning production systems and features end-to-end.
• Experience designing and scaling backend systems in a production environment.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python .
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask .
• Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, API design, and data modelling .
• Good knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, Redis, caching strategies, and database optimization .
• Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous programming, queues, background processing, and microservices .
• Ability to reason about scalability, concurrency, fault tolerance, consistency, and system reliability.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and designing cloud-based architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development .
• Strong understanding of Git, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and SDLC best practices.
• Exposure to LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, vector databases, or AI infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Experience building products in an early-stage or fast-growing startup is a strong plus.
