Job summary

Kiwi General Insurance is seeking a Backend Engineer to design and scale core systems using Node.js and TypeScript in a product-driven environment.

You will build RESTful APIs, microservices, and ensure performance and reliability while collaborating with product, frontend, and DevOps teams. Relocation to Mumbai is welcome for the right candidate, with a strong ownership mindset for fast-paced product work.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and system design basics.
• Experience working in product-based companies (mandatory).
• Good problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures.
