Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development, systems maintenance, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python; familiarity with Golang is desirable.
• Solid hands-on proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in Google BigQuery, data modeling, query performance tuning, and complex SQL for large datasets.
• Practical exposure to interacting with modern LLMs/AI models (e.g., Gemini, Anthropic Claude).
• Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and adaptability to evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize existing backend services, microservices, and API layers powering ProdSec dashboards; implement feature enhancements.
• Monitor, refactor, and maintain BigQuery data pipelines and complex SQL queries to ensure performance and data freshness.
• Troubleshoot pipeline anomalies, optimize queries, and resolve technical debt to maintain platform stability.

You will focus on operational excellence, solution maintenance, and continuous platform enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Maintenance & Enhancements: Maintain and optimize existing backend services, microservices, and API layers powering ProdSec dashboards; implement feature enhancements as required.
• Data Pipeline Support: Monitor, refactor, and maintain BigQuery data pipelines and complex SQL queries to ensure performance, data freshness, and accurate security reporting.
• System Reliability & Bug Fixing: Troubleshoot pipeline anomalies, optimize existing database queries, and resolve technical debt to maintain platform stability.
• Collaborative Execution: Work closely with cross-functional teams (security analysts, frontend developers, and product managers) to deliver prioritized enhancements and operational fixes.
