Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Python, REST API development, microservices, databases, and cloud technologies. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend services, integrating cloud platforms, and building reliable data-driven applications. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with Azure services,SQL/PostgreSQL, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with a good understanding of modern backend architecture and development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

Develop robust and secure REST APIs for application and system integrations.

Design and implement microservices-based architectures.

Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well‑tested code.

Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of backend services.

Collaborate with frontend, cloud, DevOps, and other engineering teams for end‑to‑end solution delivery.

Cloud & Azure

Develop and deploy backend services using Microsoft Azure.

Work with Azure services such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure Compute, and Azure Storage.

Support cloud‑based application integration and service deployment.

Implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions based on business and technical requirements.

Data Handling & Persistence

Design and implement data storage and retrieval solutions.

Work with SQL and PostgreSQL databases.

Develop efficient queries and optimize database performance.

Ensure data consistency, integrity, and reliability across backend services.

DevOps & Deployment

Use Git for source code management and collaborative development.

Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.

Containerize applications using Docker.

Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.

Support automated build, deployment, and release processes.

Required Skills
