Job summary

Phigital Care is seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer in Hyderabad to design and scale data-driven systems, build robust APIs, and drive performance across the analytics platform.

You will work with Python, Django and FastAPI, develop data pipelines, integrate Celery+Redis, and collaborate with frontend, AI teams, and DevOps to ensure reliable, scalable services. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years backend development with Python and Django.
• Strong knowledge of FastAPI and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Celery for background jobs and Redis for caching.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, schema design and query optimization.
• Working knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with OAuth/JWT authentication.
• Understanding of software architecture, Git, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging/performance tools (Prometheus, ELK, Sentry).

Required Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
• Understanding of software architecture principles, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with GraphQL, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
