Job summary

Kuku FM, Inc. is seeking a Backend Developer with 1-2 years of experience in Java or Python to build scalable, reliable backend systems powering our products.

You will collaborate with frontend, mobile, product, and other engineers to design APIs, write clean code, and ensure performance and maintainability across services.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL; exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
