• Build backend services that trigger and manage push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for our mobile apps.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services on cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Write clean, secure, well-documented backend code that frontend and mobile teams can build against confidently.
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to make sure APIs match what the UI needs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve backend bugs, performance bottlenecks, and scaling issues.

You will be comfortable primarily in Node.js and Express, with working knowledge of Python (FastAPI) and PHP Laravel, building high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs, real-time WebSocket systems, database architectures, and cloud services deployed on AWS.
