Job summary

FloData Analytics in Delhi is seeking a Backend Developer / Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to build REST APIs, integrate external platforms, and optimize data workflows.

You’ll work across modules such as orders, shipping, billing, and inventory, write clean Python (FastAPI) service-layer code, manage MySQL queries, and ensure reliable background jobs and production support. Experience with AWS, Redis, Docker and Git is a plus.

About the Role

• Processing and managing application data
• Integrating with external platforms and APIs

What You’ll Work On

Backend Development

• Build and maintain REST APIs using Python (FastAPI)
• Work across modules like orders, shipping, billing, and inventory
• Write clean, maintainable service-layer code

Database & Data

• Write and optimize MySQL queries
• Work with operational and reporting data

API Integrations

• Integrate with external systems (carriers, marketplaces, accounting tools)
• Handle authentication (OAuth, API keys)
• Debug webhook failures and data sync issues

Background Jobs & Automation

• Develop cron jobs and async workflows
• Handle inventory sync, tracking updates, billing calculations
• Ensure reliability of recurring processes

Debugging & Production Support

• Investigate issues across APIs, databases, and services
• Read logs, trace root causes, and implement fixes
• Work with systems that have real-time dependencies
