Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure backend applications for enterprise retail and e-commerce systems in Hyderabad. You will work closely with frontend engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions that support operations and customer-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on Java/Spring Boot expertise, microservices experience, and REST API design

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 8+ and object-oriented programming.
• Strong development experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of microservices design principles, service-to-service communication, and distributed application architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ORM and persistence frameworks such as Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Understanding of application security, exception handling, logging, and configuration management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs, along with an understanding of distributed systems and application integration.

The developer will work closely with frontend engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions that support business operations and customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate services across enterprise applications.

Experience with production support and distributed application troubleshooting.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, technically strong, and capable of independently developing backend features from requirements through testing and deployment. Candidates should be able to explain their actual contributions to microservices, API design, database interactions, and production troubleshooting.
