About The Role

This role exists to build and maintain server-side systems that power reliable, scalable applications. The position works primarily asynchronously, coordinating with a team distributed across multiple countries and time zones. Success means services handle growth smoothly and application programming interfaces remain consistent and well-documented. The environment is structured and process-driven, with zero tolerance for errors in production code. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, applying established standards without constant direct supervision.

What You'll Do

• Build server-side applications using Python Flask or Django, Java Spring, or Ruby on Rails.
• Design and maintain representational state transfer application programming interfaces for internal and external use.
• Architect database schemas and queries that support application performance and data integrity.
• Optimize systems for scalability as application traffic and data volume grow.
