Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer / Technical Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Office 365. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of complex cloud migration projects, with a particular focus on Azure infrastructure, endpoint management with Intune, and seamless transitions to Office 365. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Migration:
Lead the design and execution of end-to-end Azure migration strategies for various workloads (IaaS, PaaS, databases, applications).
Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing on-premises environments to identify migration candidates and develop detailed migration plans.
Architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions leveraging Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure AD, Azure Security Center, Azure DevOps).
Oversee the implementation of Azure landing zones, governance frameworks, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure migrations.
OnPrem to Azure, Other Cloud Platform to Azure and Azure to Azure migrations.
Microsoft Intune Specialist:
Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune solutions for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
Develop and enforce device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments through Intune.
Integrate Intune with Azure Active Directory and other Microsoft 365 services.
Provide expert guidance on endpoint security, conditional access, and data protection strategies using Intune.
Stay current with the latest Intune features and best practices to optimize endpoint management.
Office 365 Migration / Administration:
Lead and participate in Office 365 migration projects, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
Develop detailed migration strategies, conduct pre-migration assessments, and execute data migrations.
Provide expert administration and support for Office 365 services, including user provisioning, license management, security configurations, and compliance settings.
Optimize Office 365 environments for performance, security, and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Office 365 related issues.
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
The shift to remote and hybrid work has made AVD a critical migration target:
VDI Migration: Expertise in migrating traditional Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services) to AVD.
AVD Design & Deployment: Designing and deploying AVD host pools, application groups, workspaces, and session hosts.
User Experience Optimization: Implementing user profile management with FSLogix containers, optimizing images, and configuring networking for a seamless user experience.
Integration: Ensuring AVD integrates securely with Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) and other necessary Azure services for identity and access management.
Architectural Leadership & Consultation:
Serve as a subject matter expert and technical lead for client engagements.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Create detailed architectural designs, technical documentation, and implementation plans.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including solutioning, effort estimation, and presenting to prospective clients.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Microsoft product roadmaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in a senior technical architect or lead role.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure:
Proven experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Storage, and Security services.
Strong understanding of Azure AD, Hybrid Identity, and ADFS.
Experience with Azure DevOps and automation (PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform).
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-305) highly preferred.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune:
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing Intune in complex enterprise environments.
In-depth knowledge of MDM, MAM, device compliance, application deployment, and conditional access.
Strong proficiency in Office 365 migrations and administration:
Proven experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams migrations.
Expertise in Office 365 administration, security, and compliance features.
Mandatory hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD):
Proven ability to design, deploy, manage, and optimize AVD environments at scale.
Solid understanding of FSLogix profile management.
Experience with AVD host pool and application group configuration.
Familiarity with AVD networking and storage integration.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140) certification is highly desirable.
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Resource Relocation: Shifting Azure Virtual Machines, storage accounts, networking components, databases, and specialized services like AKS clusters and AVD deployments between different Azure regions, subscriptions, or tenants.
Tenant-to-Tenant Migrations: Executing complex migrations when organizations merge or divest, requiring the transfer of entire Azure environments.
