Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking an experienced Azure Migration Lead to steer large-scale on-premises to Azure migrations. You will provide technical leadership, hands-on Azure skills, and coordinate across multiple teams. You’ll guide migration planning and execution, with deep knowledge of Azure IaaS, networking, IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD integration.

Strong communication and documentation are essential. Experience with Entra ID, AKS, and monitoring tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Lead Lift & Shift and blue/green migrations using Azure Migrate.
• Perform intake, discovery, and dependency analysis for migrations.
• Design migration runbooks, cutover plans, and playbooks.
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps.
• Troubleshoot migration and infra issues to ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor migration progress, manage risks, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Work with Azure components including Entra ID, VMs, VNets, NSGs, firewalls, and monitoring tools.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Migration Lead to drive large-scale on-premises to Azure cloud migration projects. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on expertise with Azure tools and infrastructure, and coordination across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, networking, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipeline integration, with proven experience in migration planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Lift & Shift and clean deployment migrations using Azure Migrate.
• Conduct application intake, discovery, and dependency analysis to plan migrations effectively.
• Design and implement detailed migration runbooks, playbooks, and cutover plans.
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot migration and infrastructure issues to ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor migration status, manage risks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Work extensively with Azure components including Entra ID (Azure AD), Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), firewalls, and monitoring tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS services and networking concepts.
• Experience in migrating VMware workloads and Windows Server environments to Azure.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Azure provisioning.
• Skilled in CI/CD pipeline integration using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Demonstrated customer-facing experience with excellent communication and documentation skills related to migration projects.
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments and management.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AWS migration projects and cloud environments.
• Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect.
