Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking a FinOps/Data Engineer to maintain the technical backbone of cloud FinOps engagements. You will lead cloud-cost strategy, turn raw billing data into actionable insights, and collaborate across Finance, IT, and Engineering to enable faster, smarter cloud decisions without sacrificing speed.

You will build smart tooling and processes, implement anomaly detection and budget alerts, and drive KPI adoption across the organization using Azure and AWS.

Qualifications

• Background in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Experience building pipelines and dashboards from cloud billing data.
• Handson FinOps practice knowledge is a plus ( Practitioner/Professional ).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cost data pipelines from billing services and native clouds.
• Build a pipeline of FinOps recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and datasets for Finance, Product and Engineering teams.
• Implement anomaly detection, budget alerts and policy-as-code guardrails.
• Automate tagging, compliance, resource hygiene and rightsizing tasks.
• Collaborate with Finance to define chargeback/showback models.
• Manage Reserved Instances, Savings Plans and forecasting utilization.
• Ensure data quality and integrate FinOps tools with ticketing and CI/CD.
• Drive KPI definitions and adoption across the organization.

Design and maintain cost data pipelines from billing services and native clouds

Build a pipeline of FinOps recommendations

Develop dashboards and datasets for Finance Product and Engineering teams

Implement anomaly detection budget alerts and policyascode guardrails

About you

You have a background in computer science data engineering information systems or a related technical

fieldpossibly combined with experience in finance or cloud operations Youre skilled in working with large

datasets building pipelines and developing dashboards that turn complex cloud billing data into actionable

insights You bring handson experience with Azure AWS is a plus and you understand the cost dynamics of

cloud services Experience with FinOps practices or certifications Practitioner or Professional is an advantage

Fluency in English is essential and Swedish is a plus
