Job summary

Straive is seeking a mid-level Azure Data Fabric Engineer to architect and implement modern data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem in a hybrid work environment in India. You will streamline data workflows, enable seamless data integration and analytics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable datasets for GenAI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years in Azure Data Engineering with Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and OneLake.
• Proficiency in Python (PySpark) and Complex SQL.
• Hands-on with Delta Lake formats, Medallion Architecture, and Spark-based processing.

• Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and Lakehouses within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Implement and optimize OneLake structures to create a single source of truth for data assets.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT workflows using Synapse Data Engineering and Data Factory.
• Tune Fabric capacity and compute for cost-efficient, high-speed data Processing.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and BI teams to deliver high-fidelity datasets for GenAI and analytics.

Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level Azure Data Fabric Engineer to help us architect and implement modern data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. You will be responsible for streamlining data workflows, implementing OneLake architectures, and enabling seamless data integration and analytics across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabric Architecture: Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and Lakehouses within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Unified Storage: Implement and optimize OneLake structures to create a seamless, single source of truth for diverse data assets.
• Data Engineering: Develop scalable ETL/ELT workflows using Synapse Data Engineering and Data Factory.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize Fabric capacity and compute usage to ensure cost-efficient, high-speed data processing.
• Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists and BI teams to deliver structured, high-fidelity datasets for GenAI and advanced analytics.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Ecosystem Mastery: 3-7 years in Azure Data Engineering with focused experience in Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and OneLake.
• Languages: Advanced proficiency in Python (PySpark) and Complex SQL.
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Delta Lake formats, Medallion Architecture, and Spark-based processing.
• Orchestration: Proven ability to build and monitor pipelines in Data Factory and manage CI/CD via Azure DevOps.
• Data Modeling: Good understanding of Star/Snowflake schemas and semantic modeling.
