Job summary

Zoho Chennai is seeking a senior Azure data engineer to design and build scalable cloud data warehouses and ETL pipelines on Azure.

You will work with ADF, Databricks, Dremio, and Azure SQL DB, delivering real-time streaming, data modeling, and secure architecture using Key Vault and Entra ID. Proficiency in Python or C# and exposure to GenAI are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Expert SQL/T-SQL and Azure SQL DB / SQL Server knowledge.
• Expert in ETL & ELT, data warehousing, and large-scale DW solutions.
• Hands-on Databricks and Dremio; Real-Time Streaming capabilities.
• Experience with Azure Data Stack; secure Azure solutions using Key Vault and Entra ID.
• Proficient in Python or C#, with exposure to AI/ML GenAI (Azure OpenAI).
• Solid data modeling, data integration, and cloud data architecture expertise.
• Familiar with Agile and DevOps delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Azure-based Data Warehouse and Data Engineering solutions.
• Develop and maintain ADF pipelines for data movement and transformation.
• Work with Azure SQL, SQL Server, Databricks, Dremio, and other data technologies.
• Support migration of legacy DW solutions to cloud platforms.
• Implement secure Azure solutions using Key Vault and Entra ID.
• Develop reporting and data solutions for applications hosted on Azure.
