Job summary

Futops is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will own CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure DevOps services, and enforce automation and security best practices.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong scripting skills, and expertise in IaC. You will work with cross-functional teams to streamline deployments and accelerate software delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience as Azure DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps services.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Git, including branching, merging PRs.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
• Good understanding of build, release, deployment and environment management.

Responsibilities

Our MNC client is looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps solutions using Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps. The candidate will be responsible for building and managing CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code, supporting cloud environments, and driving automation and DevSecOps practices.

Job Description /Responsibilities:

• Design, create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage and administer Azure DevOps services, including Repos, Pipelines, Boards, and related services.
• Implement and maintain Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and code management practices.
• Develop automation scripts using appropriate scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Deploy, configure, and manage resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and standardize infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot build and deployment issues, and ensure reliable application delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and other stakeholders to improve deployment and release processes.
• Implement appropriate security and quality checks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes, automation, and engineering practices.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or in a similar DevOps role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps services.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Git, including branching, merging pull requests, and branching strategies.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
• Good understanding of build, release, deployment, and environment management processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with security scanning, vulnerability assessment, and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of integrating security and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud automation would be an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or other relevant Azure certifications.
