Job summary

Bacancy Technology seeks a senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure. You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerize apps, and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes/AKS. Collaborate with development and security teams to improve deployment workflows, reliability, and cost efficiency. Certifications AZ-104 and AZ-400 are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on Microsoft Azure

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD

Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Manage and maintain production Kubernetes environments using AKS

Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Automate configuration management and operational tasks using Ansible Manage Kubernetes application deployments using Helm Implement GitOps-based deployment workflows using ArgoCD Manage Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC Manage application secrets and credentials using Azure Key Vault Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, and ELK Stack Implement DevSecOps practices and integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines Implement security scanning including SAST, DAST, container/image scanning, secrets scanning, dependency scanning, and IaC security scanning Implement Kubernetes security including Network Policies, RBAC, and Pod Security Standards Design and support high availability, backup, failover, and disaster recovery solutions Perform performance monitoring, capacity planning, and Azure cost optimization Collaborate with development and security teams to improve deployment workflows, reliability, and observability Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and application issues across environments Lead root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues Continuously improve automation, reliability, security, and operational processes

Required Skills & Experience

45 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure Docker & Kubernetes / AKS Terraform Helm and ArgoCD Ansible GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC Strong knowledge of Azure services including: Azure VNet NSG Load Balancer Application Gateway Azure Virtual Machines Azure Storage / Blob Storage Azure Key Vault Microsoft Entra ID Azure Firewall Private Link / Private Endpoints Strong understanding of: Linux administration Networking fundamentals High availability and failover Disaster recovery Cloud security IAM and least-privilege access Kubernetes security CI/CD and DevSecOps practices Experience with alerting, logging, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills Mandatory Certification Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Mandatory Preferred Certifications Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
