Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced cloud-focused engineer with a strong background in Azure, containers, and modern infrastructure practices. You will design, deploy, and operate scalable enterprise apps using Azure services and container orchestration tools.

The role emphasizes CI/CD deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps, IaC automation with Terraform and PowerShell, and robust monitoring with Azure Monitor. Collaboration across teams and ITSM processes is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience on Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with containers, orchestration tools, and HA architectures.
• CI/CD pipelines and production deployments using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Work with Azure cloud services across compute, storage, networks, and integration services.
• Provisioning and enabling Azure services; support in enterprise-scale apps.
• Build and maintain logging and metrics solutions (Azure Monitor, dashboards, workbooks).
• Collaborate on IaC automation using Terraform and PowerShell.
• Participate in debugging and troubleshooting of microservices and SPAs.
• Maintain knowledge of testing pyramids and modern infra practices.
• Manage version control workflows using Git (Github/Gitlab/Gerrit/Bitbucket).
• Support ITSM processes and incident resolution.

Role & responsibilities

• 5+ years of professional experience working on Azure cloud platform
• Production experience of containers and container orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm/FluxCD)
• Experience in working with enterprise scale applications, API Gateways, high availability architectures, load balancing & disaster recovery
• Knowledge of application and cloud security fundamentals
• Experience of setting up CI/CD pipelines including production deployments using Azure DevOps
• Solid troubleshooting skills
• Experience building and working with logging and metrics solutions using Azure Monitor, Dashboards, Workbooks etc.
• Provisioning/ Enablement/ Support to various Azure Services covering Compute, Storage, Networks, Integration services
• Experience on IaC Automation using Terraform and PowerShell
• Knowledge of testing pyramids and their application to modern application architectures (microservices/SPAs)
• Knowledge of modern infrastructure practices
• Demonstrable experience of debugging applications in at least one major language (e.g. Java/Python/NodeJS/Go)
• Knowledge of at least one package/dependency management system (e.g. Maven/Gradle/NPM/Composer/Yarn)
• In depth experience of Git including development and feature based workflows and at least one Git solution (e.g. Github/Gitlab/Gerrit/Bitbucket)
• Experience on ITSM process
