Job summary

PwC India is seeking a data engineer to develop and support data engineering workstreams on Azure Databricks, IICS and cloud platforms. You will build and maintain data pipelines, transformation logic, and integration flows to support analytics.

You will design data models and processing jobs for reliable reporting, translate client data needs into scalable solutions, and monitor data quality and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior members is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting data engineering workstreams for Azure Databricks, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Building and maintaining data pipelines, transformation logic, and integration flows across modern analytics environments.
• Designing, testing, and tuning data models, warehouse structures, and processing jobs to support reliable reporting and analysis.
• Translating client data needs into scalable technical solutions for ingestion, cleansing, validation, and delivery.
• Monitoring data quality, pipeline performance, and troubleshooting activities to identify issues and refine processing logic.
• Applying Microsoft Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake tools to deliver modern data modernization solutions.
• Documenting technical design decisions, dependencies, and delivery status to support project coordination and stakeholder visibility.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members through technical review and problem solving.

What You Must Have
