Job summary

FORNAX TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Azure Cloud Security Ops professional in Hyderabad with 3+ years of experience in Email Security and Cyber Security Engineering. You will handle Proofpoint Email Protection, analyze threats, respond to incidents, and implement security policies and controls across perimeter and messaging systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in Email Security or Cyber Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Proofpoint Email Protection or similar platform.
• Strong understanding of email threats including phishing, malware, BEC, spoofing, and spam.
• Experience managing email security policies, filtering rules, quarantine processes, and threat detection controls.
• Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Experience investigating email security incidents and phishing campaigns.
• Understanding SMTP mail flow, routing, messaging platforms, and email security architectures.
• Experience supporting incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ability to analyze email threats, troubleshoot delivery issues, and remediation actions.
• Strong analytical, documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Required

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Email Security, Messaging Security, Azure Security Operations, or Cyber Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience administering Proofpoint Email Protection or similar email security platforms.
• Strong understanding of email security threats including phishing, malware, business email compromise (BEC), spoofing, and spam attacks.
• Experience managing email security policies, filtering rules, quarantine processes, and threat detection controls.
• Knowledge of email authentication technologies including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Experience investigating and responding to email security incidents and phishing campaigns.
• Understanding of SMTP mail flow, email routing, messaging platforms, and email security architectures.
• Experience supporting incident management, service request management, problem management, and change management processes.
• Ability to analyze email threats, troubleshoot delivery issues, and recommend remediation actions.
• Strong analytical, documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
