Job summary

Xoriant in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead data warehousing, ETL, and BI initiatives. You will design scalable data pipelines, optimize SQL workloads, and implement Azure-based solutions across Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, and Databricks, enabling real-time analytics and insights.

Qualifications

10+ years in Data Warehousing, ETL, BI, and SQL Development.
Strong expertise in SSIS, SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning & Indexing.
5+ years hands-on experience with Azure Data Engineering.
2+ years of experience in Microsoft Fabric.
3+ years of experience in Azure Databricks.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data warehouses and ETL pipelines.
Develop SQL queries, stored procedures and SSIS packages with performance focus.
Build Azure Data Factory pipelines and lakehouse architectures.
Implement Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS and Azure SQL Database solutions.
Enable real-time analytics with Event Hubs and Stream Analytics.
Develop Databricks notebooks and Delta Lake pipelines.
Integrate Power BI with data platforms.
