ContactX Resource Management Pvt Ltd is seeking an Azure Data Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to design and implement data pipelines using ADF and Databricks. The role covers migrations from on-prem SQL Server to Azure SQL and Cosmos DB, plus data governance and real-time processing capabilities.

You will work from offices in Hyderabad, Indore, or Pune, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions across the Azure stack.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in data engineering and cloud platforms.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ADF pipelines, datasets, dataflows, integration runtimes, and monitor/trigger pipelines.
• Implement ETL/ELT and data processing in Databricks.
• Develop complex SQL for data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Design and migrate data solutions from on-prem SQL Server to Azure SQL/Cosmos DB.
• Prepare database design documents and support Azure DMS/Data Migration Assistant.
• Implement data governance and deliver batch, interactive and real-time big-data processing.

• The candidate should have experience across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, ETL, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Azure Data Catalog, Azure Functions and Azure Purview
• The role involves designing and developing ADF pipelines, datasets, dataflows, integration runtimes and monitoring/triggering pipelines; implementing ETL/ELT and data processing in Databricks; developing complex SQL; designing and migrating data solutions from on‑premises SQL Server to Azure SQL/Cosmos DB; preparing database design documents; supporting Azure DMS/Data Migration Assistant; implementing data governance; and delivering batch, interactive and real‑time big‑data processing solutions
