Job summary

Avertis Infotech in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build data pipelines leveraging Azure data services. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role with a focus on Azure.
• Proficiency in Python for ETL development and data wrangling, and Databricks experience.
• Excellent SQL knowledge, including stored procedures and functions.
• Experience with data warehouse modelling methodologies like Kimball or Data Vault 2.0.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and ADLS Gen2.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to stay updated with industry trends.
• Experience with Git and ADO is preferred.
