Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy automation solutions across Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms.

You will streamline provisioning, configuration, patching, and lifecycle upgrades using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl, and implement workflows with Ansible integrated into CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure platform scalability, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong scripting expertise in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SCCM, AWX, and related tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, IaC principles, and Git version control.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions across Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms to improve efficiency, reliability, security, and lifecycle operations. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl to automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and lifecycle upgrades Implement and enhance automation workflows using Ansible, AWX ,and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot automation issues, perform diagnostic analysis, and support reliability improvements Maintain technical documentation, automation standards, and configuration playbooks. Collaborate with cross functional teams to refine lifecycle automation designs and ensure platform scalability, security, and operational readiness

Required Skills & Experience
