Job summary

The role requires a Diploma in Ayurveda Therapy and Ayurveda Pharmacy, with strong documentation and patient interaction skills. Freshers with relevant qualification may be considered; willingness to work in shifts is needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Ayurveda Therapy or Panchakarma.
• Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacy or D.Pharm (Ayurveda).
• 13 years of experience in Ayurveda hospital or wellness facility.
• Freshers with relevant Ayurveda qualification may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, dispensing, labeling, and storage of Ayurvedic medicines.
• Maintain stock of medicines, oils, herbs, powders, and other pharmacy materials.
• Monitor stock levels, batch details, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Maintain records of medicine issuance and consumption.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the pharmacy and medicine areas.
• Perform therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Lepanam, and Panchakarma.
• Follow treatment plans provided by the Ayurveda Doctor.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and daily therapy logs.

The role involves administering prescribed Ayurvedic therapies, assisting in the preparation and handling of Ayurvedic medicines and formulations, and ensuring high standards of patient/guest care, hygiene, safety, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Ayurveda Pharmacy & Medicine Handling

• Assist in the preparation, dispensing, labelling, and storage of Ayurvedic medicines as per prescriptions and SOPs.
• Maintain stock of medicines, oils, herbs, powders, and other pharmacy materials.
• Monitor stock levels, batch details, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Maintain records of medicine issuance and consumption.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the pharmacy and medicine preparation areas.

Ayurveda Therapy

• Perform prescribed Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Lepanam, Kati Basti, Takradhara, Basti, and other Panchakarma procedures.
• Follow treatment plans and instructions provided by the Ayurveda Doctor.
• Prepare and use oils, powders, decoctions, and other therapy materials as per prescribed requirements.
• Monitor patient/guest comfort during therapy and report any concerns or adverse reactions to the Ayurveda Doctor.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and daily therapy logs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Certificate in Ayurveda Therapy / Panchakarma Therapy.
• Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacy / D. Pharm (Ayurveda) or equivalent relevant qualification.
• 13 years of experience in an Ayurveda hospital, wellness centre, spa, or resort.
• Freshers with relevant Ayurveda Pharmacy qualification and practical training may also be considered.

• Knowledge of Ayurvedic treatments, procedures and pharmacy handling.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and guest-handling skills.
